Net Impact inspires a new generation of leaders to put their business skills to work for a better world. We help members transform their careers into ones that make a ‘net impact’—benefiting not just the bottom line, but people and planet too. More than 20,000 student and professional members turn to Net Impact for learning, connections and leadership opportunities.
Our mission: In the next ten years, we will mobilize a new generation to use their careers to drive transformational change in their workplaces and in the world.
The Marlboro College Graduate School MBA in Managing for Sustainability community has established its own local Net Impact chapter to provide students and local community members with a LOCAL outlet for networking, creativity, and fun! Our activities are focused on sustainability, vitalizing local communities, and creating business opportunities to do good.
Since the establishment of the chapter in February of 2010 our members have included students, faculty, and alumnus from the MBA in Managing for Sustainability program. Starting in November we are extending membership opportunities to the local communities surrounding Brattleboro. While we are located at Brattleboro, Vermont, many of our members live across the Eastern Seaboard, in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, New York, Delaware, New Jersey, Maryland, and North Carolina.
Each month we hold public events in Brattleboro, Vermont, during our Intensive weekends. In coming months, the Chapter is planning several exciting events, including a Wine + Networking Event, Leadership Retreat and the 2nd Annual Farm-to-Table dinner.
Please contact Sophie Abrams, Jodi Clark, Stacy Metzger or Claire Wheeler at any of our events if you have questions regarding the chapter or membership.
